JOB TITLE:  Revenue Analyst

REPORTS TO:  Regional Director of Revenue Management

Purpose for the Position:  To assume full responsibility of supporting all Revenue Optimization & Inventory Managers, Area Directors of Revenue Management, Regional Directors of Revenue Management, and Corporate Vice President Revenue Management in revenue-related tasks. This position will be knowledgeable across all brands (including independents), have full mastery of Microsoft Office, and support all Revenue Management staff and systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure that Area Directors of Revenue Management / RHG revenue strategies are fully supported to continuously improve daily RevPAR penetration by implementing rate and restriction changes across all brands/properties (and appropriate distribution channels), preparing various daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reports for management as well as ownership, maintaining relationships with OTA partners, and assisting with other-related tasks.
  2. Demonstrates full mastery over all Microsoft Office applications, as well as the capacity to learn all distribution channels across Hilton, Marriott, Hyatt, Starwood, IHG, Choice, and Independents.
  3. Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and any ad-hoc reports / presentations with accuracy as per direction.
  4. Accurately implement rate and restriction changes across all distribution channels pertaining to each brand/system, including and not limited to the following:  OnQ R&I (Hilton), Marsha & HPP & Fosse (Marriott), Reserve & Rate-Management Tool & efLex (Hyatt), Valhalla & Galaxy (Starwood), Holidex & PERFORM (IHG), Choice Central (Choice), EZYield, Synxis, Sabre, Opera CRS, Opera PMS, and any others utilized within the portfolio as per direction.
  5. Build and maintain relationships with all property-level staff and act as an extension of Revenue Management team in regards to revenue-related communication /concerns.
  6. Monitor availability and trends across assigned properties and make recommendations to appropriate Area Directors of Revenue Management if potential opportunities to maximize revenue are identified.
  7. Monitor availability and ensure strategic room type, straight- line balancing of inventory on a continuous basis.
  8. Build and maintain documentation for all properties in regards to no-show and cancellation revenue to ensure that properties are upholding the company cancel policy.
  9. Consistently produce and maintain all RHG Revenue Management rolling reports and yield tools to include, but not limited to; booking pace, strategy yield tools, property and ownership group forecast and production reports, budget and segmentation tools, ORR production reports, internal business intelligence program, master security access sheets, internal resource center, group rate sheets, daily pickup sheets; etc.
  10. Address group blocks within the PMS for pickup / cut-offs / attrition / wash etc.
  11. Support the rate loading process for all rate plans within all systems, and continuously test book for accuracy.  There is an emphasis on knowing Hyatt, IHG, and Hilton systems.
  12. Coordinate and attend assigned hotels' revenue meeting(s).
  13. Produce routine reports for the Revenue Management department and executive committee members for analysis.
